- I am a someone who loves to stare outside my window when deadlines looms and threatens to pass me by.
- I love reading manga and you might catch me saying, ‘Bankai’ while taking pictures.
- I am lazy love to conserve, mostly my energy by not engaging in many activities that some of my friends say are fun: clubbing, partying. But I skip office for movies.
- I love to watch a movie and hold Z’s hand through the entire length of the movie. If I was a superhero, I’d be one who takes the bus because of my fear of flying.
- I love reading comics and believe that my love for manga stems up from this. I grew up reading Phantom, Tintin and the Naagraaj fraternity. And I am still on the prowl to buy the old volumes. Recently I’ve been buying graphic novel (fancy word for comics, eh?) such as Jeff Smith’s Bone series.
- My father is amazed that I still read comics at this age. He think I have gone cuckoo :)
- I read a lot of fantasy stuffs. And the best of them is the Discworld Series, written by Terry Pratchett. I nearly owe all of the Discworld volumes.
- I mostly got them secondhand in Pokhara. I am always surprised that I find good deals there and not here on Thamel.
- The book sellers in Thamel, esp the good folks over at United Book shop know me by my first name.
- I sometimes strum the guitar. And since I play the tunes that I like and conjure up, I’m not really sure if I am playing in time or not.
- I love writing and photographing, hence this blog.

This is about me too:
I love to experiment. Especially with WordPress themes. Hence the changes in the blog’s outlook.
Before I was using a Cutline theme, now it’s monochrome. I love the simplicity of this theme.
I love the pictures you’ve posted….glorious!
Thank you so very much :D “What she really wanted to do though, was to write.” I love that bit. It’s the same for me too.
ok i veto that the sequel to this is in demand. the 2010 version of (not) about me
:) Coming right up.
i have a serious request:
can i borrow your discworld books??? i have been looking for them for a long time and i can’t afford to buy new ones.

Sweet! :)
Here’s what I do. I got some volumes in hard copy and some in digital format. I am searching for some of them in print too. But yet to find them in second hand copies (I too am cash strapped. Sigh) I have pdf’s and I’ll send them over. Huncha? Ki name the ones you want and I might have them on print :) Will surely borrow for a Naagraj and Phantom.
ani, you can try united books over at Thamel. They have some sweet deals on Pratchett books. And, surprisingly Pokhara’s bookshops, for some strange reason, has more of his works than here, esp the book shop that is adjacent to the Pumpernickel bakery. Tyo budi bajai ko graffiti wala, k ta.
Hmmm… maybe you’ll like Blankets (I got a copy of it too, if you want).
EXCITING!! any pratchett book, i’m up for it.definitely hard copies first. :-) pumpernickel bakery here or in pokhara? okay will write more in email. hehehehe
:) The one in Pokhara. I believe the name of the bookshop is… (wait for it) Annapurna Book Shop. Hah, very original name. But has nice collection. So does the United Books in Thamel (their new shop is awesome) I wish I could get free Discworld books every time I referred them :P
